How you’ll make an impact in this role

  • Deliver high-quality patient care in collaboration with the team members during intrafacility, and interfacility transport.
  • Assess and stabilize patients, performing necessary diagnostic and therapeutic interventions.
  • Maintain quality of care by adhering to therapeutic standards and recommending adjustments in consultation with team members and the broader multidisciplinary team.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team and participate in decision-making to improve operational efficiency.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Certification specializing in Neonatal Resuscitation credentialed from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Drivers License obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • One or more of the following required:
    • Certified Registered Nurse specializing in Transport obtained within 24 Months (2 years) of hire date or job transfer date. Certified Transport Registered Nurse (CTRN)
    • Certified Registered Nurse specializing in Flight obtained within 24 Months (2 years) of hire date or job transfer date. Certified Flight Registered Nurse (CFRN)
Education

  • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required.

Work Experience

  • Minimum Qualification: Three years of experience in Emergency Department and/or ICU Required.
  • Preferred Qualification: Five years of experience in Emergency Department and/or ICU.
