Client Details

We are urgently seeking nurses interested in joining Centria Home Care to support a mature female client in St. Louis, MI who requires 24/7 private duty nursing. This is a highly desirable case with an incredibly supportive, close-knit family in a beautiful, smoke-free, pet-free home. This family has been together for 68 years, has 11 children (plus 2 adopted), and provides exceptional support t o the nurses in their home. A caregiver is also present for her husband, a Korean War veteran.

Shift Details

• 12-hour shifts ( tentatively 8a–8p or 8p–8a)
• Days and nights available
• Flexible scheduling with no requirement to work a certain amount of weekends or Holidays
  
  

Clinical Needs

Trach care, total care (non-weight-bearing), indwelling catheter, oxygen PRN, Type II diabetes with insulin, bilateral foot drop, diabetic neuropathy, chronic UTIs, history of stroke and TIAs.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care (trach/vent care, medication administration, catheter care, etc.)
• Monitor and document vitals, symptoms, and changes in condition
• Assist with ADLs such as repositioning, hygiene, mobility, etc.
• Support patient well-being with compassionate and attentive care
• Collaborate with families, caregivers, and the healthcare team
  
  

Qualifications

• Active RN or LPN license in the state of Michigan
• Experience in home health, private duty, or long-term care preferred
• Pediatric or adult care experience a plus (trach/vent knowledge helpful but not required)
• Strong communication skills and a passion for patient-centered care

About The Role

We have immediate needs for private duty nurses (RNs or LPNs) in the West Bloomfield Township area to provide home care to pediatric patients. Our pediatric population ranges in ages from birth to 21 years of age.

• Weekly Pay, $28.00 - $40.00 per hour.
• Create Your Own Schedule: Although this specific position is a day shift, in general, we never mandate shifts, giving you the flexibility to balance work and personal life.
