West Michigan Chapter of AACN 2024-2025
My name is Lindsey Mirto, and I am the current President of the AACN West Michigan Chapter! Our chapter has been going strong since 1989, thanks to your support and our local board of directors’ passion and expertise. We are excited to continue to bring excellent educational offerings throughout the year (starting in the fall!) and support AACN’s mission of driving excellence in acute and critical care for nurses, patients, and families.
After “Rising Together” last year, we’re continuing to embody AACN’s theme, as we take the “Courage to Soar” this year! I can personally identify with this theme; in those situations where I’m not feeling like I’m ready or struggling with imposter syndrome…. I’m inspired-with the help and support of my family, friends and coworkers - to jump in and find, that not only can I do it … I CAN SOAR! We have all endured a lot these last few years, we keep growing and going, and ready to soar together!
We’re looking forward to hearing your stories and supporting you professionally and personally- the difference you make every day is profoundly meaningful and it’s an honor to be a part of this community with you!
